Characteristics of nanometer calcium carbonate applied in rubber industry
Nanometer calcium carbonate has many excellent properties, especially after modification, and its application is very wide. In the field of plastics industry, nano-calcium carbonate can be used as modulator, reinforcing agent and semi-reinforcing agent of plastics. At the same time, active nano-calcium carbonate has oleophilic and hydrophobic properties, which can improve the rigidity, toughness, bending strength, finish and other processing properties of the product.
In the field of rubber industry, nano-calcium carbonate as an inorganic filler, when added to rubber products, the properties of tear resistance, flexural resistance, compression deformation and vulcanized rubber elongation have been greatly improved. The results show that the nano-calcium carbonate made of waste eggshell has obvious reinforcing effect on the maleic acid natural rubber composite, and the tensile and thermal properties are greatly improved.
